The owner preparing pork and mushrooms

About us

We started in 2019 in a small 17-pyeong (about 56 m²) shop in Wolchon, a neighborhood in Daegu. I opened this place wanting to give my youth everything I had. Wolchon means "the village where the moon shines especially bright." To thank the guests who have been that bright moon in my life, we opened this restaurant in Beomeo-dong.

Three things we always keep.

First: the meat

A meat restaurant is only as good as its meat. I look at it, touch it, and choose it myself. We'll let the taste of the meat speak for us.

Second: service

Friendliness, how we treat you, hygiene, grilling, ventilation, music, temperature — we look after every part of it so you can eat comfortably.

Third: our attitude

Since 2019 we've grown not through flashy skills, but by sincerely taking care of every single table and earning their trust. There's something I always say: "An owner who forgets their regulars has no future." With that same heart, we'll keep focusing on every table.

Thank you for reading this far.

Meat & side dishes

We use only fresh Korean pork belly, never frozen. We wet-age and dry-age it to keep the juices in and the gamey smell out.

Every morning we check the meat before it comes in, and we serve it when the aging is just right. Anything that doesn't meet our standard doesn't go out.

All side dishes are made here in the restaurant, not bought in. We pick them to go with the meat. Guests especially love the seasoned chamnamul greens and the pickled ssam cabbage.

Our staff grill the meat for you, so you can just relax and talk. Try the first bite with a little Maldon salt.
